A large cream field covered in gestural marks that look more like drawing than weaving. Lines in pink, red, black, orange, navy and forest green move freely across the surface. Small diamond outlines, bracket forms, and curved strokes are placed with the loose confidence of an artisan who knew exactly what she was doing. The composition reads like abstract calligraphy. The pile is thick and deeply soft. At nearly two and a half metres long, this piece fills a living room and commands it.

Care instructions
Vacuum regularly
Low suction, against the pile. Avoid the fringes with the nozzle.
Brush once or twice a year
Keeps the wool fibres alive and the texture looking its best.
Treat stains quickly
Blot gently with warm water and a little Woolite. Never rub.
Let it breathe
Never leave it folded for long. Wool needs air to stay in good shape.
Natural freshening tip
A light mist of water, bicarbonate of soda, and a few drops of mint essential oil refreshes the rug between cleans and acts as a natural insect repellent in spring and summer.
