Fassia takes its name from Fez. The city's embroidery, tarz fassi, is worked in one colour on white cloth, most often blue, in a counted lattice of interlaced stars and stepped borders. We redrew that lattice in zellij: a field of cobalt eight-point stars linked by small squares and lozenges on white, closed by a stepped hem at the edge. Hand-cut and set by hand into cement in Salé.
Sizes and shapes
Every top is made to order. The listed sizes run from 40 to 60 cm round. Larger sizes and other shapes (square, rectangular, oval) are made on request through the Commission Desk. Each top is cut by hand, so small differences in tile and colour are part of the piece.
One price, everything included
Choose your diameter and height above. The price shown is always the complete total for your selection: the diameter price covers the full Zellij tabletop, and picking a leg height updates it to tabletop and iron base together. Want the top alone, without the iron base? Simply select Tabletop only.
Choose your colourway
Fassia comes in these colourways, all at the same price: Cobalt on white (photographed) · Green on white · Black on white. Pick yours with the colour swatches above the price: each colourway has its own page, same cut, same sizes, same price. We confirm every order by email or WhatsApp before cutting starts.
Handmade variations
Every piece is made by hand in Morocco. Glazes are mixed and fired in small batches and tiles are cut one by one, so colours, cuts and shapes differ from the photographs and from one piece to the next. This is not a defect. It is the signature of handmade work and what makes your piece yours alone. That is also why we send you a real photo of your table before it ships, so you see its actual finish. Shipping
Made in Salé in 2 to 4 weeks, then 1 to 2 weeks by UPS or private courier: about 3 to 6 weeks from order to your door. Delivery is free in the EU. Before it ships, we send you a real photo of your table. Your carrier will ask for a phone number at checkout.

Made-to-order pieces are exempt from the EU right of withdrawal, so please check your size before you order. If something arrives damaged, we repair or remake it.

Looking after your zellige
After use
Wipe up any water or other liquid spilled on the top after use, so nothing is left sitting on it.
Outdoors
Zellige can withstand frost, but for long-term outdoor use we strongly recommend keeping the table under a waterproof cover, especially through rain and frost, or bringing it indoors for the winter. Water that sits and freezes stresses the grout lines over time, and the iron base lasts longest when it stays dry.
The iron base
The base is wrought iron, painted by brush. Outdoors, depending on humidity and climate, light rust spots appearing over time are completely normal and not a defect. A quick touch of metal paint with a small brush covers the iron and protects it again, and the base looks new.
Galvanized base
If you would rather not do that maintenance, choose Galvanized under Base finish above, +€39 on any size. It resists rust far longer and looks exactly the same: the zinc coating sits under the same matte black paint.
